This classic dress dress is a favourite for school balls, black tie and formal occasions. The Bailey Gown in black by Nookie is the perfect classic gown.
The Bailey Gown will have you looking stunning and perfect for any event. It is a maxi style with a low back, fully lined, with adjustable straps, padded bra and a rear split. It is fabricated from a thick scuba crepe fabric which has stretch and will hug your curves perfectly. This dress is a size medium and will fit a standard size 10.
The dress is quite long and is perfect for taller girls, ideally 170cm or taller. The length measures approximatey 158cm from shoulder to hem.
This dress may be temporarily hemmed for an additional cost (add alterations) but the hem length must be measured in store and added to your order for this to happen prior to pick up.
The Social Wardrobe entered the designer rental scene in 2022, started by a mum who was inspired by her own experience searching for the perfect dress for her daughter's school ball.
They have a beautiful studio space in Mount Eden, Auckland where bookings can be made for try-ons. There's a focus on school balls, but also pieces for other occasions, with big plans to keep expanding the range.
