Due to studio lighting and editing, the actual colour of the skirt is a more faded cherry red rather than the bright shade shown on the Babyboo website (Babyboo includes a disclaimer about this online as well).

Additionally, the skirt fabric can naturally develop faint, white powder like lines or patches when creased. This is a characteristic of the material - not washing powder - and can be easily minimised with a quick steam.
